Keller Auditorium in Portland

Keller Auditorium

Keller Auditorium is a performing arts venue located in downtown Portland, Oregon. It was originally known as the Portland Municipal Auditorium and was constructed in 1917. In 1968, the building was renamed to Keller Auditorium in honor of Richard B. Keller, who served as Portland's mayor from 1957 to 1973. The auditorium is home to the Portland Opera and the Oregon Ballet Theatre, and also hosts concerts, Broadway shows, and other performing arts events. The building underwent a major renovation in the 1990s to update its facilities and improve the audience experience. The iconic art deco style of the building's facade remains a notable feature of Portland's downtown skyline.
