We were warmly welcomed by the owners and shown around the purpose-built lodge. Our room was clean and inviting, and the guest lounge was like a cozy library with a fireplace and comfortable seating. The breakfast selection was wonderful, with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and eggs made to order. The hotel facilities, including the lovely outside garden, were free to enjoy and the location was perfect, overlooking a scenic lake and close to the small town center with nearby restaurants.
Couldn't stay longer.

Stephanie & Alistair, brilliant hosts. Beautiful location for exploring. Fantastic facilities and decor. Relaxing atmosphere, great for unwinding. Informative and helpful hosts. Convenient lounge area with free drinks. Close proximity to Lake Tekapo village. Warm and welcoming ambiance
Can't fault anything about it.

Our stay lacked the welcoming atmosphere that other lodges in the area have provided. While the gardens were beautiful, they were the only free amenity to enjoy. The central dining area was nice, but lacked character. Although the rooms were well-furnished, the bathroom could have used more space. The breakfast was good but nothing extraordinary. We missed out on a room with a view of the lake that other guests seemed to rave about.
The staff seemed bothered when we asked for recommendations in the area.

From the moment I arrived, this hotel was an oasis of luxury. The exclusive amenities, including a private hot spring bath and sun terrace, were absolutely divine and fulfilled my every need. The room was beautifully decorated with a homely feel and had extravagant facilities such as a private fireplace and Jacuzzi. The restaurant served exquisite dishes which I thoroughly enjoyed, and the location was perfect for exploring the natural surroundings.
The only minor issue I encountered was a small delay in service, which in no way detracted from the overall luxurious experience that was provided. The staff were attentive and accommodating, making my stay truly memorable.

Great location with beautiful scenery and easy access to local attractions. The staff was friendly and always available to help. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch.
Our room had a strange smell that was not pleasant. The furnishings were outdated and could use an update.

I recently stayed at a lodge with charming hosts. The stunning views and well-appointed rooms won me over. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread and the friendly atmosphere at the communal dining area. The hosts were always eager to help and offered great tips on things to see and do in the surrounding area. The location was also perfect, providing easy access to nearby attractions.
Honestly, I couldn't find any faults with this lodge. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail was impressive.
